It's a one-person shop — so it's me who reads this, and me who answers.
What helps
- Which app and which version. On the Mac it is in the app's About box; on iPhone and iPad, in Settings.
- What you did and what happened — a screenshot or a short recording says more than a paragraph.
- macOS or iOS version, if it might matter.
Quick fixes worth trying first
- Mac app won't open after download. Every build is signed and notarized, so it should open with a double-click. If macOS still objects, the download was probably interrupted — delete it and fetch it again from the app's page.
- No update offered. The Mac apps check once a day. Pick
Check for Updates…from the app menu to check now. - Progress didn't follow me to another device. Both devices need to be signed in to the same iCloud account with iCloud Drive on for the app. Sync is usually within a minute; opening the app on each device nudges it.
The apps
- Butler— local web development for macOS; its own site has its docs.
- TV Remote— control your Apple TV from your Mac.
- BrowserRouter— send every link to the browser it belongs in.
- ClipWatch— everything you copy, back in a keystroke.
- DaemonControl— every launchd job on your Mac, in plain English.
- Bubble Popper— the bubble-popping game.
- Bomb Sweeper— the minefield game.
- Dope Wars— the classic trading game.
Privacy
The apps collect nothing about you; what little the update checks and downloads record is described on the privacy page.
