Nothing to collect.

The apps have no accounts, no sign-in, no ads and no analytics SDKs, and this site sets no cookies. Here is the whole of what leaves your device, and why.

Your data stays yours

Saved games, best times, high scores and settings live on your device. If you are signed in to iCloud, the games keep a copy in your own iCloud account (Apple's key-value store) so they follow you between your Mac, iPhone and iPad. That data never passes through anything of mine; I cannot read it. Turn iCloud Drive off for an app in System Settings and it stays on the device only.

Update checks (Mac)

The Mac apps check for updates once a day using Sparkle, which fetches a small file from assets.austindrummond.com. That request is counted as "one install checked in today" — no IP address is stored. The server keeps a salted hash of the IP, user agent and date that changes every day, so the same Mac cannot be followed from one day to the next, plus a two-letter country code. That is how I know roughly how many people use an app. You can turn the automatic check off from the app menu (Check for Updates Automatically) and use Check for Updates… by hand.

Sparkle can send an anonymous system profile (macOS version, Mac model, CPU) with the check. These apps don't: the option is off and there is no switch for it.

Downloads

Downloading an app or an update from this site is logged the way any web server logs a request: which file, when, and the country. No identifier, no cookie.

This site

austindrummond.com sets no cookies and runs no trackers. Fonts load from Google Fonts, and the downloads are served through Cloudflare; both see the request the way any host does.

Children

The apps collect no personal information from anyone, children included. Dope Wars is a trading game with adult subject matter and is rated accordingly where ratings apply.
